Marialuisa Gallozzi is a partner in the policyholder insurance coverage practice of Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. She is also admitted in Virginia and New York.  Ms. Gallozzi has served as lead counsel for policyholders in complex, high value first-party and third-party insurance claims with recoveries exceeding half a billion dollars. Her broad experience includes cyber-risk, technology errors & omissions, property/business interruption, kidnap & ransom/specialty risk, terrorism, general liability, crime and management liability/D&O and employment practices liability coverages. Ms. Gallozzi focuses her disputes practice on negotiation and mediation (she is also a certified mediator in Virginia), tailoring insurance coverages for unique risks, and transferring risk in contracts and transactions. Her accolades have included the American College of Coverage Counsel (Board of Regents),  Chambers USA, Business Insurance "Women to Watch,” and Washington DC Super Lawyers "Top 100 Lawyers" and "Top 50 Women Lawyers."
