Description
Join us for the largest Ethics and Professionalism CLE event in Virginia! In this 3-hour, live webcast CLE program, we are headed to the future, to the year 2029, where an AI is proctoring a legal ethics certification exam. In the first hour, you'll learn how to navigate the ethical issues that arise when representing corporate entities, incorporating generative AI tools into your practice, and fulfilling duties to prospective corporate clients. In the second hour, the panel will discuss the ethical issues surrounding deepfakes and other false or misleading evidence, withdrawing from representation, and winding up a practice. The final hour of the program will address a lawyer’s duties under Rule 5.3, navigating the fallout of a network breach, and the relationships and conflicts that arise from of-counsel relationships.
