Relying on the latest ABA National Profile of Legal Malpractice Claims Report as a jumping-off point, a panel consisting of ALPS Risk Manager Mark Bassingthwaighte and two ALPS Claims Attorneys will discuss what’s currently hot in the world of legal malpractice. They will identify the hot practice areas of concern and center their discussion around the common administrative, substantive, and client relations errors lawyers have been making in recent years. This program will include the telling of a few generalized cautionary tales based upon actual claims in hot practice areas as a way to identify and underscore the importance of relevant risk management best practices.
Program Materials: A 22-page set of written materials that go into depth on risk management best practices will be made available for download to all program participants. The materials submitted here are based upon the information contained in the new ABA Report.
