Description

This program will provide a broad overview of emerging data security threats in addition to the traditional vulnerabilities. Frequent computer and mobile device security problems will be identified and practical solutions discussed. Given that over 90% of serious breaches were the result of avoidable human error, much of this program will focus on educating lawyers on how to avoid these all too common human missteps. Finally, time will be spent on teaching lawyers what they should be asking their tech support in order to make sure that confidential records remain confidential.

A sampling of Attendee Takeaways:

  • An awareness of what a lawyer should be concerned about and why.
  • An understanding of how to maintain confidentiality in today’s Internet connected world.
  • What the fallout of poor security practices can be. Insight in how the “bad guys” do what they do.
  • Practical instructions as to how to avoid becoming a victim of a cybercrime.
